District Court Division

The District Court Division of the State’s Attorney’s Office prosecutes over 7,000 criminal and traffic cases a year. The prosecutors handle assaults, thefts, disorderly conduct, violations of protective orders, and other misdemeanor offenses. In addition, the District Court Division prosecutes all traffic offenses, including driving on a suspended license, drunk driving, driving without a license, and all payable citations.
