Voter Registration Deadline! If you need to update your voter registration or to register to vote for the 2024 Presidential Primary Election the deadline is April 23, 2024. In-person by 5:00pm or 11:59 pm online. Please call the Election Office if you have any questions.
Primary Early Voting Days: 05/02/2024 to 05/09/2024. Primary Election Day: 05/14/2024. General Early Voting Days: 10/24/2024. General Election Day: 11/05/2024.

Maryland is a closed primary state. You must be registered with either the Democratic or Republican party to vote in the primary election.

Notification of Polling Place Changes

The St. Mary’s Board of Elections is committed to ensuring that all eligible voters in our community have fair and equal access to the polls. As part of this effort, we maintain a contact list of individuals and organizations who wish to be notified about local board meetings at which proposed changes to the locations of polling places will be discussed.

Sign up to be notified when the board will discuss polling place changes. You will be contacted at least one week prior to the meeting date.
