The Wicomico Shores Golf Course

The Wicomico Shores Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole golf course owned and operated by St. Mary’s County Government. The Clubhouse overlooks the expansive course, abundant wildlife, wooded areas, and the scenic Wicomico River.
The generously sized greens, level fairways, and variety of hole designs provide a challenge to players of all abilities. Par for the course is 72 for all, with the back tees measuring 6,397 yards with a slope of 121, and a course rating of 70.0. Yardage for the regular tees is 6,110, sloped at 118, with a rating of 68.7. Senior tees have a yardage of 5,524 with a slope of 109 and rated 66.2. Forward tees have a yardage of 5,320, with a slope of 119 and rated 69.2.
The Wicomico Shores recreational complex also includes a public boat ramp and 150 ft. fishing pier, both strategically located on the beautiful Wicomico River.

Directions
From Annapolis
Follow MD Route 4 to MD Route2/4 through Calvert County to Prince Frederick and take a right at MD 231. In Hughesville take MD Route 5 south and continue to follow Route 5 south into St. Mary’s County. Turn right onto MD 236/Thompsons Corner Road. Turn left onto to MD 234/Budd’s Creek Road. Then turn right onto Aviation Yacht Club Road to the WSGC on your right.
From Baltimore
Follow I-97 South to Route 3 through Bowie to Route 301(Rt. 3 turns into 301 S). Turn left at Mattawoman Beantown Road. Follow Mattawoman Beantown Road to the intersection of MD Route 5. Turn left onto MD Route 5 south and continue to follow Route 5 south into St. Mary’s County. Turn right onto MD 236/Thompsons Corner Road. Turn left onto to MD 234/Budd’s Creek Road. Then turn right onto Aviation Yacht Club Road to the WSGC on your right.
From Washington, D.C.
Follow I-495/I-95 North, cross the Woodrow Wilson Bridge into Maryland. Take 1st exit, Indian Head Highway/Route. 210 South. Make left on Route 228 toward Waldorf. Route. 228 becomes Route 5 after crossing Route 301 in Waldorf. Follow Route 5 into St. Mary’s County. Turn right onto MD 236/Thompsons Corner Road. Turn left onto to MD 234/Budd’s Creek Road. Then turn right onto Aviation Yacht Club Road to the WSGC on your right.
