The Inspections Division provides customer-focused inspection services for residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with zoning, stormwater, critical area, and forest conservation regulations, per approved site plans. The team verifies that all zoning and third-party building inspections are completed before issuing Certificates of Occupancy. The division also responds to citizen complaints, investigates code and zoning violations, assesses unsafe structures, and supports damage assessments after natural disasters. Working closely with county, state, and federal agencies, the division delivers timely, courteous service to the community.
