Recreation & Parks Golf Tournament

Each year the Recreation & Parks Department offers a golf tournament at the Wicomico Shores Golf Course in an effort to provide children in St. Mary’s County the opportunity to participate in summer camps and sports at a discounted rate. In 26 years, the tournament has raised over $185,000 for scholarships so children experience fun, healthy and positive activities. The Recreation Division special events are self-supported without the assistance of government tax dollars. We rely on donations and support from local citizens and businesses to ensure the continuation of our diverse program offerings at an affordable cost to the participants.

Registration for the 2024 Tournament will open on Monday, July 1, 2024. Team registration is $375 and includes light breakfast, drink tickets for each golfer, hotdog on the turn, games, door prizes and a full catered lunch. Teams will tee off at 8:30am for a shotgun start. The tournament is seeking sponsors with a variety of options to choose from – please check out the Sponsorship Opportunities link below.
