Memory Kits Program
A Department of Aging & Human Services program in partnership with the St. Mary's County Library System
Memory Kits
Memory Kits are specially curated resources designed to support cognitive health for older adults and individuals experiencing cognitive decline.
Each kit includes a variety of engaging materials, such as:
- Books, Games, Puzzles, and Hands-on activities
- Exercises aimed at improving memory, mental agility, concentration, and problem-solving
- A copy of the Resource Guide for Older Adults, offering valuable information on local services and support networks
Kits are organized by theme, allowing participants to choose topics that match their interests or cognitive needs. They provide stimulating, enjoyable activities that enhance cognitive function, verbal skills, and spatial awareness while promoting social interaction and engagement.
Where to Borrow Memory Kits
Memory kits are available for checkout at all St. Mary's County Senior Activity Centers and Library locations.
Checkout details:
- Kits must be checked out and returned to the same location they were borrowed from, either the Customer Service desk at each Library or the front desk of each senior activity center
